Senior Data Analyst

Location: Cebu or Metro Manila, Philippines

Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid Work Setup (Morning Shift - 4am to 1pm)

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Senior Data Analyst at CoDev, you will play a crucial role in executing and managing accurate data collection, processing, modeling, analysis, and reporting across various departments within the organization. Reporting to the US-based CFO and closely collaborating with the strategic leadership team, your goal is to deliver best-in-class experiences in data analytics, reporting, and business insights in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with department heads to gather, clean, report, and interpret data rapidly and thoughtfully.

• Translate business needs into meaningful KPIs and actionable dashboards using tools like Zoho Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.

• Construct and drive the creation of informative visualizations, analytical models, and dashboards tailored for different functions.

• Define and maintain core competencies and best practices in digital analytics.

• Lead discussions with business leadership to identify opportunities for applying data analytics to real-world business challenges.

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and develop appropriate solutions using best-in-class data analysis techniques and tools.

• Work with large-scale data sets from multiple sources, execute ETL, and perform further processing and analysis.

• Conduct ad hoc analysis through data mining and visualization.

• Apply exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to recommend continuous improvement opportunities.

 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or related field.

• 3-6 years of experience in data analytics/data science/data management, providing actionable insights to support operations.

• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to work with minimum supervision, prioritizing workload and requests.

• Experience in managing mid-to-large cross-functional projects with varying degrees of complexity.

• Strong experience in connecting and integrating data from diverse sources (APIs, Google products, cloud databases).

• Proficiency in ETL methodologies, relational and non-relational databases, and SQL for efficient data retrieval.

• Experience with BI Tools such as PowerBI, Looker, Zoho Analytics, or Tableau. Zoho Analytics is a plus.

• Knowledge of Google Apps Script, Javascript, Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot CRM, Outreach.io, LinkedIn, and Facebook is a plus.

• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control is a plus.

• Experience in Data Warehousing, Data Pipeline, or Big Data is a big plus.

Working Conditions:

• Morning shift (4am - 1pm) Philippines Standard Time.

• Hybrid Work Setup. Prefer candidates located in Cebu but may consider candidates in Metro Manila as well.
