Job Description

CORE DELIVERABLES


IT Administration, Management, And Support (90%)
• Act As First Line Of Assistance On All Help Desk Requirements.
• Executes Employee Onboarding In Terms Of Provisioning Equipment, Laptop/Desktop Imaging, Phone Prep, Workstation Setup, Provisioning Credentials & Permissions, Initial User Training On Company IT Systems.
• Administers Or Automates Device Upgrades/Patches, Inventory, Configuration And Compliance
• Administers Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, MS Teams, Cloud-Based VoIP Phone System And Other SaaS-Based Applications.
• Coordinates Or Delegates Efforts With Vendors For Upgrades And Support Requests.
• Administers The Internal DNS/DHCP, Active Directory, User Permissions, Group Policies, File Server/Sharing, Windows Servers.
• Identifies And Suggests Possible Improvements On Processes And Procedures.
• Escalates Client Issues Through The Proper Channels.
• Manages Cases According To Defined Case Impact And Priority.


Research And Development (10%)

• Perform R&D, Technical Assessments, And Risk Assessments On New Cutting Edge Technologies, IT Tools, And Security Practices.
• Third Party Vendor And Software Product Assessments.
• Hardware Research And Assessments.
 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS


Experience With:
• Windows Experience
• Incredible Sense Of Pride And Passion For What You Do And A Desire To Help Your Teammates.
• Troubleshooting (Ability To Work Through Issues Methodically)
• Active Directory / Azure AD
• Cloud Based Services (O365 / Azure / Salesforce / Etc.)
• General Understanding Of Network Fundamentals (OSI, TCP/IP
• Strong Workstation Troubleshooting And Group Policy Configuration Experience.
• Microsoft O365 Management And Support Experience.
• Windows Server 12/16/19 And Hyper-V.
• Knowledge Of System Security Best Practices And Data Backup/Recovery Tools.
• Experience Supporting Windows OS Installs And Golden Images.
• Good Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities.
• Good Soft Skills / Interpersonal Communication.

Experience With One Or More Of The Following Is A Plus:
• Relevant Qualification In Information Technology Or Equivalent In Years Of Experience
• Experience Supporting Modern, Mobile Cloud And App Solutions.
• Experience In Managing Firewall, Routers And Switches.
• Experience With IT Infrastructure Monitoring Solutions
• Experience With Asset Management Solutions
• PowerShell & Scripting
• CompTIA A+/Network+
